The Community Tourism Agency Launches Phase 2 of Hilltop Condos

On Thursday, June 5th, 2025, Hilltop Condos, located in Cas en Bas, Gros Islet, officially launched the second phase of its accommodation. The development was led by General Manager Ms. Classie Louis and supported by the Community Tourism Agency (CTA) as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen community-based tourism in Saint Lucia.

The new units Units 3 and 4 consist of two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments. Each includes a living area, fully equipped kitchen, private balcony, and access to sea views. The accommodations were designed to meet the practical needs of guests while reflecting elements of local residential design. The property is situated near several of the island’s northern tourism sites, allowing guests to stay within the community while accessing key attractions.

The CTA’s involvement included facilitation of financing, access to duty-free concessions, Public Liability Insurance, business development support, and marketing assistance. In addition, the team at Hilltop Condos received specialised training to improve their operations and better align with tourism standards.

The successful completion of Phase 2 enables Hilltop Condos to increase its capacity, strengthen its business model, and contribute further to Saint Lucia’s community tourism sector. The CTA continues to provide technical and strategic support to small businesses like Hilltop Condos that demonstrate local ownership, community involvement, and tourism potential.
