Local Government receives keys to new Facility
The launch of the Community Tourism Program saw the introduction of its first project. Official keys to a new vending facility, located at Front Street, Anse La Raye, were handed over to local government representative, Hon. Richard Frederick. Eager to revitalize the once booming tourist waterfront, Hon. Frederick stated his excitement to commission the opening of this new facility.
The Anse La Raye Community Council will then be the final recipients of keys, in an upcoming hand-over ceremony.
The community welcomes this new home for vending after voicing concerns of past structural issues, and hopes that it will allow for the adherence of industry standards, and comfort and safety for all.
