Anse La Raye JAZZ 2025: Culture. Community. Cuisine.

The community of Anse La Raye was transformed on Friday, May 2, 2025, as thousands gathered for the highly anticipated Anse La Raye Fish Fry JAZZ, hosted by the Community Tourism Agency (CTA), the Anse La Raye Fish Fry, and the community of Anse La Raye. The event, which ran from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, brought together locals and visitors for an evening of live music, authentic Saint Lucian cuisine, and vibrant community celebration.

Headlined by Caribbean groovy soca legend Edwin Yearwood, the event featured a packed performance lineup including Tension, Herb Black, Deep Roots, DYP, PanTime, Fundamentals, Glenn Henry, and DJ Selector Nyle. The crowd enjoyed a seamless fusion of coastal jazz, local rhythms, and culinary delights, with Anse La Raye’s signature seafood taking center stage.

A special moment of the night was the recognition of Grammy Award-winning producer Johann Deterville, also known as Yogi The Producer, who hails from Anse La Raye. The CTA honoured his international achievements and lasting impact on Saint Lucian music.

The event was made possible with support from key sponsors including Bank of Saint Lucia, LUCELEC, Sprite, and Climax, whose partnership underscored their continued investment in cultural tourism and community-based initiatives.

The Anse La Raye Fish Fry JAZZ 2025 forms part of CTA’s ongoing efforts to support community tourism development by showcasing local talent, preserving culture, and stimulating economic activity in Saint Lucian communities.
